• Glove care

Lamb, peccary, deer, exotic skins… Causse rigorously selects the most noble materials from the best tanners.
Their suppleness and fineness give the gloves their exceptional comfort. In order to obtain these qualities and in order that the glove acts like a second skin on the hand, it is necessary that no protective finish should be applied during the dyeing process.
That is why a discharge of dye caused by excessive humidity (even light perspiration) should not be seen as a defect in the glove. The gloves may also lose some of their colour after long exposure to sunlight since the dyes are sensitive to UV light.
Maintaining the beauty of the skin requires care. It is recommended that the gloves be stored in a dry, well-ventilated place, away from the light at a temperature between 15° and 25°C. Any dirty mark should be dealt with as soon as it appears. Fullers earth and pure soap from Marseille may be used to remove greasy marks (dry the glove away from any source of heat. It is, however, strongly recommended that marks and stains should be removed by dry cleaning by a leather care specialist.
